Unfolding stories of people + projects

If you’ve ever binge-watched a Netflix series, you’ll understand the power of a serial narrative. The rhythmic, sequential relationship of everything that the story serves up captivates us. We become fixated, we need to watch more because we’re curious and it makes us feel good.

This idea of rolling, unfolding stories influences my photographic work. I am a visual thinker. A photographer whose ideas manifest mind-side as series of photo-realistic images. I am moved by people, it’s the complex, messy realties of life that draw me in. This attraction to authenticity frames much of my client and personal work.

It’s funny how the unfolding story of my own life has taken me by surprise. The first decade of my working life was spent in the food and health sector, working creatively in a dynamic corporate environment. After kids I established a successful woodworking business for a time and have invested the last few years to the study of photography (Diploma of Photo Imaging). This background positions me beautifully to work along side brands to strategically evolve their aesthetic, strengthening the visual narrative of their brand both on and offline.
